This trip stands out in our memory as being the start of a new season. Newly married we had decided that we wanted to live in the moment, be spontaneous, and embrace the precious time we had together before kids came along. This roadtrip brought us first to the Grand Canyon, where we hiked rim to rim in a day, and lemme tell you. Sunrise in the grand canyon is maybe the most magical majestic sight in the entire world. Pictures can't do it a lick of justice. After this we made our way further west all around, and later that year our adventures brought us to India, Europe, Hawaii, Alaska, and eventually to South Korea - a place that would be home for a little over a year, and where our first kid would be born.

These pictures are a little older, but have such a dear place in my heart. Also, I think I can still feel the soreness from that hike...
