The coolest wedding venues in New Orleans.
Here is my round up of some of the coolest venues to get married in New Orleans. If you're coming in for a destination wedding, I hope this might help out a little bit!
To be honest I haven't shot at most of these yet! I'm still working on breaking into the local destination weddings! LOL.
1) Race and Religious
Capacity: 300
This is the coolest venue in town. If you want a fun, fashionable, memorable wedding in NOLA, you should check this place first. They get booked out pretty far in advance so don't dilly-dally.
The ACE hotel is the cool new kid in town. The eccelctic decor and art installments are to DIE for.
3) Red Haus
Capacity: 430
Capacity: 400
TBH I haven't visited this one in person, but I have heard good things!! plus it's a preffered vendor on Wedding Pioneers! (which I am proud to be a part of!)
5) Bourbon Orleans Hotel (St. Ann Cottage)
Capacity 90
The Bourbon Orleans hotel has a huge ballroom, but that's not really my vibe. plus it's indoors. the St. Ann's cottage though is AMAZING. it has a courtyard with a fountain and dark wall that really makes wedding dresses pop!
6) II Mercado
Capacity: 450 guests for a cocktail party or 225 for a seated dinner
the courtyard of this is SO GOOD.
7) Marigny Opera House
Capacity: 200
not the best for natural light. but it is DREAMY and GORGEOUS and has a old world vibe.
8) Cavan
Capacity: Capacity: 130
i mean. look at that decor! so cool.
9) Pharmacy Museum
Capacity 150
There is an outdoor courtyard or an indoor option and I have seen some SUPER cool pictures from this location!
10) Antoines
ok the natural light in this location isn't great. but it has fun charm and a cool old vibe! my bride got ready at the Omni Royal hotel next door and that was awesome!
